Catch Calendar Girls for the last time
Calendar Girls is touring for the very last time, with a show in Dublin featuring the original Calendar Girl herself Miss Lynda Bellingham.

The story follows a group of extraordinary women who are members of a very ordinary Yorkshire Women's Institute. They spark a global phenomenon by persuading one another to pose for a charity calendar with a difference. As interest starts to build at pace, the girls find themselves revealing more than they had ever planned.

Camilla Dallerup, Jan Harvey, Sue Holderness, Deena Payne, Lisa Riley, June Watson and Ruth Madoc join original Calendar Girl Lynda Bellingham with Kevin Sacre as Lawrence the photographer and Joe McGann as John.

Calendar Girls is a  fundraising phenomenon and was inspired by the death of Angela Baker's husband John Richard Baker. Angela sums up the extraordinary story of the Calendar Girls: "I think that we've all coped really well with what has happened. We've done the most amazing things but we've kept our feet on the ground and we've never forgotten why we did what we did. We didn't do the calendar because we wanted to be famous but because we wanted to raise money in John's memory. It has been the most marvellous experience."

The show will be staged at the Grand Canal Theatre in Dublin from 27th February 2012 to 3rd March 2012.ADNFCR-8000210-ID-801288772-ADNFCR
